Walked past this so many times. Tonight, I decided to stop in. They were very busy but I was seated within 5 minutes. Very friendly right off the bat. Was seated and met my server right away. Ordered some red wine, stuffed Port a bellas and shishito peppers. Wine and peppers showed up quickly. Wine- delicious. The peppers were plenty and very tasty! Than came the Port a bellas.....yum!!!!
Another nice portion and super delicious.
Lots of cheese....yum!!. .y medium rare ribeye makes the table. I cut into it and Wow!! The smell the color all good. I put it in my mouth and Bam!! Delicious. Cooked just right. It comes with aujous, (spelling?) but a good steak doesn't need that. This was a very tasty dinner. Super yum. I'm glad I came
This place was just okay in my opinion. Our appetizer of the shrimp was really tasty! Our steak was just okay for the price. We had other steak at the Five Star Shrimp that we actually thought was much better, also ribeye, for 1/3 of the cost. The lobster was great here though.
As far as the dining experience, we were sat in a far back corner by the kitchen entrance. Tables were quite beat up and there wasn’t much decor. For the price of the meal, this was undesirable. Our waiter did a fine job, but not amazing.
This place left room for wanting better, but wasn’t bad. Try if you want, but I think you’ll find better elsewhere. You can make reservations online to speed up your wait process.
Crisp on the outside tender on the inside calamari, and smooth flavored crab stuffed mushrooms were excellent. Our waiter, Alden, was very attentive and kept everyone happy with quick service and interesting facts.
We had baby back rib half, prime rib, and Caesar salad with added avocado for takeout.
The person who took the order was very kind and the food was perfect, and I thoroughly enjoyed the taste of Tony Roma.
We will definitely visit again.
The food at TR Fire Grill doesn't live up to the vibe or the atmosphere, which is rather unfortunate as the place is popular, located on a busy street bustling with tourists. Service was quick and friendly, and our server had solid knowledge of the menu. Prices are high, just like any other popular eating establishment in Honolulu.
I would like to rate this place 10 stars.. our server was so hospitable and attentive. She tried her best to give us the best experience ever! We came here at 5:30pm, luckily it was still happy hour(til 6pm). So we ordered baby back rib, prime rib taco, and asparagus with wine and beer. Wine was so affordable ($8) and it tastes great. Our server asked us if we want to order more befor happy hour finishes. How kind she is! We got one more glass of wine :) and when we got our baby back rib, we were so astonished by its size. It should feed whole family! Our server kindly brought us extra plates and extra bbq sauce. She checked multiple times if we were enjoying our dinner. I don't know how we ended up finding this greatest restaurant. It should be rated as the best restaurant in Hawaii for not only cuisines but also for the service. I said I will come back for my server. And I really will.
Great all around, Sherry the bartender was friendly and helpful with selecting dinner. Had the Mushrooms Stuffed with Crabmeat and Truffle Ravioli w/shrimp and Asparagus. Both were delightful...if only I was there for a few extra days would have gone back for another round. The Ravioli was so great, it's easy to over indulge on.
Atmosphere was laid back and Sherry was the best part of the evening.
My Husband and I made reservations on Wednesday the 9th of August at 6:30 pm. When we arrived, the restaurant was not crowded. There were plenty of open tables in the front of the restaurant, near the windows where we could enjoy the view. We were seated in the very back in a corner near the kitchen. I asked why were we seated in the back of the restaurant? I was told that we needed to request to be seated in the front. That was the most ridiculous answer I have ever heard.
It’s really hard to get past that experience. I also noticed that there was another black family in the back of the restaurant as well. I am not sure if they made reservations but we did!
Based on our experience, I would not recommend this place. The waiter was nice.
